Free AI clip maker for Shorts, TikTok and Reels

Upload a podcast, stream, interview or vlog. ClipBolt transcribes it, picks the moments most likely to hold attention, and cuts them into ready-to-post clips with burned-in captions.

How it works

  1. Upload your video (MP4, MOV, WebM, MKV — up to 1GB), or paste a TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, X, Reddit or Rumble link. YouTube creators: download from YouTube Studio and upload.
  2. Pick the video language. Transcription works in English, Japanese, Spanish, Korean, Chinese, Portuguese, French, German, Hindi and more.
  3. Get your clips. Each one has a title, a 1–100 score so you know what to post first, and optional word-by-word captions.

What the free plan includes

  • 30 processing minutes every month. Uploads count at half, so that covers up to 60 minutes of uploaded video a month (videos up to 20 minutes each on the free plan).
  • Captions, clip titles and virality scores.
  • 720p downloads with a small ClipBolt watermark. Paid plans start at $9.50/month for 1080p, no watermark and more minutes.

Who it’s for

Podcasters turning episodes into daily Shorts, streamers clipping highlights, coaches and teachers cutting lessons into tips, and small businesses repurposing webinars and interviews.

FAQ

Is ClipBolt really free?

Yes. The free plan gives you 30 processing minutes every month with no credit card. Uploaded files count at half, so you can process up to 60 minutes of uploaded video a month, in videos up to 20 minutes long.

Can I clip YouTube videos?

Yes, by uploading the file. Download your video from YouTube Studio (Content → ⋮ → Download) and drop it into ClipBolt. Pasting YouTube links isn’t supported; skipping that expensive step is how we keep prices low.

Does it add captions automatically?

Yes. Turn on burn-in captions and every clip gets word-by-word captions in the video’s language, including Japanese, Chinese and Korean.

What formats can I upload?

MP4, MOV, WebM, AVI and MKV files up to 1GB.
